Art Lab was created as the new department of Unlock Entertainment. It is a family of artists coming from different disciplines: musicians, plastic artists, audiovisuals, Vjs and architects. Right now Art Lab is formed by 42 creative minds, working together for the purpose of conceiving new artistic and non-conventional solutions. As a part of Unlock Entertainment, the branding challenge was to create a logo that could work perfectly with UNLOCK but with different character and power. It had to be a logotype that could be seen in the middle of a piece of art, without breaking the balance and harmony of it. I conceive it in white and black, in order to prioritise the creations of our artists. The art had to be with it, not in it. Thick lines and the contrast between white and black are the keys of the Art Lab brand image.
